The African-American Slave Trade (Lives in Crisis Series) Reviews
-
Good book about information on the African American Slave Trade. It gives details about the conditions of slaves, the way the slave trade operated, as well as the way slaves were transported and the slave ship itself. The kept conditions of the slaves was one of the bigger topics in giving detail about them and how they were piled on one another, how some of them were deceased but chained together, and how they were all just treated unfairly. This book would definitely be targeted towards upper grade levels such as 4th and 5th grade. It can be used in social studies topics.
