i liked the pictures and the photographs of her and her home. i lived in northern new mexico and enjoy seeing that landscape through her eyes. unfortunately i found the book, the writing itself, to be quite repetitive and pretentious. lots of "fa fa fa bla bla bla color and its relationship to form bla fa fa objects and their meaning fa bla bla". they could have covered all of that in a chapter instead of trying to make an entire book out of it as if we don't get the point the first time. i think she might even think the book to be a bit much. the timeline/chronological section in the back of the book was great if you're interested in her life and her quotes, which were at times given a page of their own, saved the book in my opinion.

Beautiful works and good idea for a show, but the reproduction of some of them is not that great. The colors are pretty different than the orignial paintings.
