Ten stories, each one themed around one of the Ten Commandments, but with an adult furry twist. Alex Vance, Renee Carter Hall, Whyte Yote, Kyell Gold, pyrostinger, Fuzzwolf, Jonas, Not Tube, K. M. Hirosaki, and B. C. Currier contribute to this innovative anthology.
While the subject matter is clearly not something you will find in Sunday School, it was ultimately surprising how many of the stories ended up re-affirming the intent of the original Commandment in the end. So, you still get your moral fiber -- you just get there by a different... sometimes stickier... road is all..
Illustrated by Heather Bruton, Nylak, Adam Wan, Blotch, ShinigamiGirl, Jonas, DNApalmhead, oCeLoT, and Savannah Horrocks, with a full-color cover by Heather Bruton.
Kyell says:
This project started after I listened to an episode of This American Life where they ran ten stories about the Ten Commandments. I'd been thinking about trying to collect adult authors in an anthology, and this just seemed like the perfect vehicle. I was fortunate enough to get nine other talented authors to contribute, and nine talented artists to illustrate the stories. Everyone took the commandments very seriously and produced some terrific stories--two nominated for an Ursa Major Award, as was the collection itself.

Well written and pretty steamy, but ultimately it just didn't grab my attention. Not sure why.

this rating is pretty much entirely for fuzzwolf's contribution, which remains one of my favorite short stories of all time; i literally called my boyfriend at 4 a.m. in fits of tears because of it.
