Lady Elizabeth Wetherby, formerly Crawley, has married the wrong man, after being duped by his identical twin brother. Now, to escape scandal, she and her new husband have taken refuge at Dunbocan, their Scottish estate. Having been a highly popular and active member of the ton, she worries that being stranded in the Highlands will be a horrible bore. But how can one be bored when a ghost haunts ones home?
Michael Wetherby has been in love with Elizabeth Crawley, now Wetherby, since the day he met her. So, when his identical twin brother suggested they trade places one night, he was happy to oblige. But the charade got out of hand, and the next thing he knew, he was leg-shackled to a woman who didn't want him.
Now, they both must make a choice: be miserable together, or learn to love one another. Either way, till death do them part.
The Bedeviled Bride (Wetherby Brides, #4) Reviews

I was happy to finally get some closure from the last book but the inconsistencies were annoying. There were several times where you weren't sure what was going on and where they were because the details contradicted themselves. There was also a point towards the end of the book where Micheal called Beth/Lizzie - Katherine (who is his sister).
**Spoiler alert**
The ending felt very rushed and when Andrew and Chloe arrived they had a son when clearly in the last book they had a daughter named Samantha.
Nothing annoys me more than authors who write a series and can't keep their character facts straight.
Overall I enjoyed the story but I don't think I'll read anything further from this author. I wish for better editing and story structure. -
The Bedeviled Bride (The Wetherby Brides, Book 4)
A ghost story. Lady Elizabeth and Lord Michael are marry and have gone to Scotland to his estate. She has refuses to talk to him. Can love win out? When they get there things change, now she is seeing ghost. -
Twin brothers switch lives and fall in love with the ladies they switched partners. She married the other brother and not the one she was engaged to marry. Not a very happy lady with brothers switching places.
-
Kind of dull and ridiculous.

The Bedeviled Bride (book 4) is a little different from The Wary Widow (book 3). In this story, the H/h find/admit love around the 30-40% mark, so there is a mystery ghost introduced to keep you interested. However I felt it was a little flat. The buildup was nice, but the ending was a ho-hum. Still not sure why she saw the Monster on the lake, or what her fear of spiders have to do with anything, and what about the tearful/emotional reunion for Bonnie… I seemed to miss something there.
More research would have been nice as well... using infamous or overused references such as Loch Ness, Haggis, and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata seems like an easy out and a missed opportunity. This is the authors chance to introduce you to new places, new sights, tastes, smells and sounds and instead I was given clichés. It was not horrible, but more a miss.
However, I would still recommend this book, because it does help finish the Twins’ story. And I do still like the author's writing style and story ideas. I will continue to read more from this author. Happy reading - Frankie -
The first of the story was alright. I wish this marriage started differently than it did from the previous book. The heroine was whinny and had to much pride to just let things go in their marriage. But the hero is not that great either. He gets upset over the stupidest things because he does not allow his wife to speak first before making assumptions. I continued to read because I read all the other books in the serious but I this should not have been a book.
Also, the writer could not keep names straight in this book. At one point the hero is talking about his wife but states his sister's name instead. It was a distraction. -
This author needs to 're read her books if she is going to Dona series. I have found so many inconsistencies in the story it was horrible. For instance at the end of book three we read that Alex and Chloe had a girl named Samantha. At the end of book four we read that Alex and Chloe had a baby boy,am something is seriously wrong with that. There are plenty of.others, but will not go into them. Bought book one to read as well since I started with book 2, but I am not I wish to read it now. Oh well Will not be purchasing anymore'm of her books. Sorry.

This book was somewhat different to the other ones in the series, though I can say that I liked it better than the second book. The paranormal elements seemed a little tossed in, as if a gesture to make things interesting. There were the usual 'we're going to fight over a misunderstanding and be miserable for an unreasonable time, because we won't talk about it' episodes which I could have done without. Other than that, I rather enjoyed reading this.

Elizabeth was too much of a brat for me and unfortunately I had to skip over the majority of the story with regards to the ghost. I have a feeling that the boys are named Andrew Michael Wetherby and Michael Andrew Wetherby just from the what was said about his second name - I am most likely wrong though. As much as I like Michael I just couldn't stand 'Beth'.

In this novel the author takes the reader on a romantic journey between two people who fall in love despite the fact that they were never meant to be together.
I really enjoyed this book, definately worth reading. -
I do hope there is a other book to this one, with a little bit more of a happy'er ending... love how after everthing that did happened that they were to be able to love each other. but no baby :( sad...

I really liked these books. I just wish that the wpilogue would have been a little more detailed. I like for the stories to fell finished and I felt like I still wanted more info about all The Wetherby's at the end of this. (Maybe there is another book that I don't know about)

I want more!
This book was amazing! Ghosts, mystery, and you have one of the best stories I've read in a while. I just wish that I knew what happened to Michael and Beth after the book. Do they have children? -
Affianced to one twin only to find yourself married to the other twin and wondering how could your life be worse? Well finding yourself haunted sounds worse to me. Beautiful conclusion to the tale of two brides for twin brothers. Starts out bumpy but ends in love.

I was tempted to add this to my "made me cry" shelf, because honestly, this was just painful to read. And I'm not referring to sympathetic painful either! DNF.
-
I really liked this book.

I enjoyed the story but U wish Lizzie had a better ending. Are there any more Wetherby books in the future?
-
Loved this last book of the series on the Wetherby brothers. Was a bit confused by the ending though. The gender and name of Chloe and Andrew's child changed. A bit curious.
-
This was meh for a fluff novel. I was expecting a lot more ghost and was quite confused when the heroine decided she would love her huband. Decent effort for a lunch book but needs improvement
-
An addicting series. Cute stories, great plots, fun sexy scenes and inspirational characters. Well done. Worth the read!
-
Interesting change of style with the ghosts in this book. Not a fan of the abrupt ending though.
