No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession…
Entwined with You (Crossfire, #3) Reviews
-
“You own me, Eva. Wherever I am, whatever I’m doing, I belong to you.”
Entwined With You was everything I could have wanted! I was thrilled with the story, happy with the ending and now am excited for the next books!
I LOVED IT!!! 5++ STARS!
Since this is book #3 in the series, I am not going to talk about the plot at all here. This is not a standalone and should only be read after both
Bared to You and
Reflected in You.
First you can all rest easy because there is NO RELATIONSHIP CLIFFHANGER!!! In fact, of all the three books so far, I’d say this one had the most resolved ending of all. It ended at a point where Gideon and Eva were together and happy. Yes, there were still many unanswered questions for future books (mostly regarding external plot lines and milestones that Gideon and Eva still have to cross) but there was no relationship cliffhanger!
There was also real no stupidity and no cheating throughout the book. Yes, the characters made mistakes, but they’re only human. I ‘understood’ everything that both Gideon and Eva did throughout the book. I understood why they messed up and I respected them for trying to fix their mistakes.
There was a lot of smokin’ hot sex (and I mean H.O.T.) but it didn’t overpower the actual work they put into the relationship. I loved that they didn’t use sex as a distraction for working out their issues. They’d always had intense chemistry and sexual attraction but they were also actively focused just as much on working on the rest of their relationship as well which made them functional as a couple both inside and outside of the bedroom.
I loved that they had this intensely passionate, tumultuous relationship but at the core of it all was always their strong, unwavering love for each other. Everything else was just details.
Entwined With You started off right where book #2 ended throwing us right back in the story. If it has been a while since you’ve read the last book, I would recommend re-reading at least the last chapter of book #2 before starting this just to get yourself back into the details of the story.
In this book, Gideon and Eva’s journey continues as they fight their inner demons and nightmares and work together at maintaining and building a functional relationship filled with intense desire, love and commitment.
One of my most favorite things about Gideon and Eva as a couple is that they TALK!!! They talk through EVERYTHING! They’ve both been broken by their pasts and are dealing with untold amounts of external stress and yet with them, their relationship always came first. I always knew what their top priority was. I could just feel it. And I absolutely freaking LOVED it.“I look at you, angel, and I want you so badly. I want to be with you, listen to you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you.”
Gideon Cross is the ultimate tortured, Alpha hero. He’s completely dominant and possessive but at the same time so vulnerable and broken. Truthfully, protective and possessive doesn’t even begin to describe him though. He’s also loyal, understanding, powerful, and passionate. He is just the perfect balance of everything in my eyes. He is Alpha enough to make me swoon but was always logical and rational in his actions. I absolutely loved that he always put Eva first. He was always thinking of her and it was clear in each one of his actions. If it’s possible, I love him even more after reading this book than I did before starting!
I’ve always really loved Eva too. Deeply scarred by her past and also still hurt by things that had happened in their relationship (despite it being a missunderstanding), she had to work hard to keep being open. Luckily, Gideon helped balance her out. He was always insisting on working things through together. And at the end of the day, they both just wanted to make things work, and were willing to do anything to bring them closer to each other.
I loved that they went toe to toe on everything. Yes, Gideon was powerful and dominating but Eva was also strong and independent. They didn’t clash, but rather they complimented each other. Their relationship was always balanced and I could never doubted the value they placed on their relationship. You could feel that they were willing to sacrifice anything for each other and never give up. I just loved it. It was heart warming to an extreme.“Despite everything, we were stronger than we’d ever been.”
And the HEAT!!!! ohhhhh the intensity!! This has got to be one of the hottest books I’ve ever read! Not that it was literally the most graphic but just that their connection intensified every sexual encounter between them. It was scorching!! Sizzling! And, I’m not going to lie, they certainly took things further in the bedroom than they’d ever gone before. There was definitely an “oh my!!” moment for me at one point ;)
But like I said, I loved that with them it was never all about the sex. I loved watching them genuinely, step-by-step work through their issues. I loved being able to see their progress and to see them grow both as individuals and as a couple.
The build up of the book’s ending wasn’t as intense as the last one to be sure but that was totally okay with me. Given the context of the story, it didn’t feel right to have something super intense in that moment and I’m glad the author didn’t put some random drama there just for the sake of sensationalizing it. I respect her for staying true to the characters.
The ending left us in a good place. My heart is happy and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to pause their story while we wait for the rest of the series to be released.
It has been confirmed that there will be 2 more books in the series after this one. The Crossfire series will now have 5 books.
I have loved this series from the start and if the next two books are going to continue Gideon and Eva’s story following the same path that these first 3 books have taken and just continue to develop their relationship together without stupidity or excess drama, then I’m all for it!!!
At first, I thought I would have wanted the “happily ever after” we would have gotten had this been the final book but I can honestly tell you that I did NOT feel that any of the issues were dragged out, or just “put there” for the sake of creating more text. There was no “drama for drama’s sake” and everything that happened both made sense, kept me engaged (or fanning myself) and was believable for the characters.
Also, given the amount of issues they still have to work through (which I won’t name in order to keep this spoiler-free), I’m honestly very happy that they’re getting more books. I think their story could easily take two more books to tell it in and there are still so many things that I personally WANT to see them work through that we would never have been able to see if the story had wrapped up in just this one book.
I know some people said that the ending left them “desperately wanting more”, and while I respect their opinion, I just don’t get it to be honest. The story HAD to end somewhere and since we know there will be more books I was completely happy with the ending. Yes, in the issues external to the relationship, there are still unanswered questions but, if there weren’t any, then how would we ever have more books??
Gideon and Eva were happy and together at the end. For the ending of a mid-series book, I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Personally, I loved it. Totally loved it. Gideon and Eva continue to be one of my absolute, all time favorite book couples and I can’t wait for more of their story!
Basically, if you loved the first two books, you should absolutely read this!!
❤
As a final note, I just want to share this with you. It’s a message from the author that I really love and tells me all that I need to know about this series:“Is it possible for two abuse survivors to have a functional romantic relationship?” – Eva Tramell
“Eva’s question is the core of the Crossfire series. The answer she receives (“Absolutely.”), gives her hope that she can find her way there with Gideon. I hope their journey touches you the way it has me. We all deserve a happily ever after.” (Sylvia Day)

“Sweet dreams, baby,” I whispered, wrapping my arms over his around my middle.
His mouth curved against my neck. “My dreams already came true.”
I loved this book! I am SOOOOO happy I enjoyed it and it didn't disappoint me!
I think keeping my expectations low after the disaster of Reflected worked ;)
•It had amazing drama
•Great story line
•The characters felt more mature; like they didn't cling they way they did in Reflected. The seemed wayh more stable.
•There was a lot of sex, but this had chemistry and love making.. NOT I want to fuck you because I'm an insecure person kind of sex they had in Reflected.
So I'd say the series has taken a drastic improvement turn. :D I'm VERY happy!
But I have a theory here!
I think the author re-wrote the WHOLE book after she gave out ARCs for Entwined and it sucked. Already people were pissed with Reflected because it didn't like up to half the people's expectations including mine.
Hence the 6 months delay from the original 31th Dec, 2012 date we were promised.
There are rumors floating around about this, people speculation... I think its true. If she's actually done that. I'm super glad and happy that she did because this book worked. Because if it was like Reflected, I'd totally dump this series. There is a limit till how much you can bare rubbish and stuff dragged out.. Eg- Pretty Little Liars and I stopped it mid-season 3. I would have done it here too but I'm glad this book turned out so well :D :D
Gideon“You own me, Eva. Wherever I am, whatever I’m doing, I belong to you.”
Eva
THIS BOOK IS A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER THAN THE FIRST TWO.
The characters have matured in the period of these two-three months they have been together.
We learn so much more about Gideon! He actually opens up! I was so glad to read more about his dark past.. it makes me feel more comfortable and connected with the whole story because you finally understand!!
They weren't clingy. They were evolving, slowly.. step by step growing up and growing together.
The one thing I liked the most in this novel was what the word Crossfire ment to him!“Day One of my life was the day I met you.”
Ah, Gideon.. you say stuff like that and totally make me want to throw my heart at you“You and me on a deserted tropical island where you’d be perpetually naked and I could slide into you at any moment.”
I set one hand on my hip and shot him a look. “Sunburned and bowlegged. Sexy.”
And then you say this and I'm like 'Yupp, throwing my panties too!'
“You’re different,” he said, touching my face. Of course I was. The man I loved had killed for me.
Don't know if thats the sweetest thing ever or the creepiest thing ever.. BTW.. I APROVE! Hahahah :P
This plot had a new twist, it was more like a little detectivy type I'd say..
We got to see more of the side characters... a bit of their story! I LIKE
Tatiana.. the only word pops into my head when I think of here is HATE and YUCK
That Deanna bitch is a whore whom I want to SLAP very hard.
face. Jean-François has issues, I mean c'mon man... use your sexy face, charm and money to lure your bitch of a wife back. Hate the wife too. SLUT.
The book doesn't have its HAPPILY EVER AFTER yet, Its got its HAPPY ENDING and there is NO CLIFFHANGER :)Yes, dear reader, you’re right. This can’t possibly be the end.
Gideon and Eva’s journey isn’t quite finished yet. I look forward to seeing where they’ll take us next.
All my best,
Sylvia
See, you can't say stuff like this without giving us anything for book 4. First only I am highly pissed because I wanted the book to end here. After the ever dragged Reflected I wanted them to end here in Entwined. I won't complain much about a book 4 after reading this because this book was written really well. I enjoyed it.
It has amazing drama, a great story line; thank god for small mercies. But again there was too much sex. Its like reading a bloody prono. -
You see that? That, right there?
That’s me. Well, I’m slightly more feminine looking with a better rack.
But yeah, that look on that face?
I’m wearing the same one. And I just finished this book.
Now, I know what you, “Crossfire” fanatics, are thinking.
But, HOLD ON A SEC! Okie dokie?
I’m a huge fan of Miss Sylvia Day, too! Before I read this, I was counting down the days until it was released.
***So remember that.***
Because…
First of all… this series was planned as a trilogy, right? If I’ve read the right blog posts and articles, this series was supposed to be a *trilogy*. And then after the second book, good ol’ Day decided to expand it into FIVE books.
Now, as much as LOVE Gideon… I was excited! I mean, that was like CHRISTMAS hearing news like that. As long as Gideon was in the picture, I would be stoked if she decided to make it a TWENTY-book series. Sign me up!
But then I read this book.
And see, here’s the problem:
The first two books were made for a 3-book-series.
And then this one, the THIRD one… was made for a 5-book-series.
So, basically, what we have is an author adding water to an AMAZING soup, trying to get it to last longer, right? And praying like hell we don’t notice.
Well, I noticed. :)
AND I AIN’T HAPPY.
I mean, so much was going ON in this book… but nothing was happening!!!
Eva was still worrying about the Nathan debacle.
And she’s kind of entertaining the idea of Brett, her ex-fling who’s now a mega rockstar.
I mean, come ON, Eva! Seriously. You have Gideon Cross.
GIDEON CROSS. What’s there to think about? If you know spending time with an ex-boyfriend or whatever is going to piss off the love of your life… then here’s a brain-boggling idea:
***Don’t spend time with the EX!***
Other than that… this book was okay.
And it should have been MORE than okay!

4 We Are All Officially Crossed/Cross' Stars
"If souls could be mated with wishes, ours would be inextricably entwined."
Gideon and Eva. What more can I say about a couple that defied all odds, fought everyone and anything standing in their way, clawed each other heart out, fixed it up and put it back to together but never returned it? They just kept them and gave their own to the other to hold safe, forever.
A couple that drowned its problems with sex. That couldn't sleep together, afraid of lashing out in the midst of a nightmare. That has demons screaming in its head every damn hour of a day and a past that haunts and torments their reality and future. That fear still rules their actions. They dared to dream, to hope but they had to make the ultimate sacrifice to have a chance together. And for Eva to feel safe again.
“I won’t apologize. I’d do it again.”
So, they crumbled and almost died in the process.
“You were with me. The whole time. There wasn’t a second that passed when you weren’t on my mind. You own me, Eva. Wherever I am, whatever I’m doing, I belong to you.”
Together again, they have to keep a deadly secret, battle their own deep-rooted fear, family, friends, exes, reporters, police.... HELL the whole damn universe for what is rightfully theirs. Love and a happily ever after. Will Gideon manage it out of sheer force of will or Eva's inability to use caution and just plain logic will once again tear them apart?
“You’ll never lose me, angel,” he vowed. “Wherever you go, however far, I’ll be right here with you.”
This third installment in the seductive and highly erotic Crossfire Series will push your boundaries, drive you crazy, awake all your senses and make you totally mad. You will fall deeper and irrevocably in love with the one and only Gideon Cross and you will pray for this book not to end.
Gideon is once again a sight to behold. Tender and violent, a wild animal, leashed only by the love of a woman. Possessive, arrogant, protective to the extreme and sexy beyond any measure. I couldn't get enough and I swear that every damn time this amazing man opened his deliciously dirty mouth I had a mini-orgasm.
““What the hell was I supposed to do, Eva? I didn’t know you existed.” Gideon’s voice deepened, roughened. “If I’d known you were out there, I would’ve hunted you down. I wouldn’t have waited a second to find you. But I didn’t know, and I settled for less. So did you. We both wasted ourselves on the wrong people.”
The rest of the book felt to me like a hot mess, straight out of hell. Eva just plain infuriated me. Her reluctance to take a leap of faith, for the man that committed a FREAKING murder for her was really maddening. Second guessing herself, Gideon and their relationship every second page, being insanely jealous BUT going out and talking with her ex and well... (I will give her that ;)) dealing with a horrific situation with her parents, this girl has a lot on its plate.
That's right woman!!! Pull your head out of the sand, look what you got right in front you and SCREW THE WORLD!
Don't get to this book looking for answers and resolutions. You will only get more frustrated. Read it as a chapter in Eva & Gideon's story, another hurdle for them to overcome, a sexy and intense read that will arouse and make your heart sing and simultaneously cry.
WE ALL NEED A MAN LIKE GIDEON IN OUR LIFE!!!

** 1,5-2 "bored-out-of-my-mind" STARS **
November 15th 2014
I'm enraged right now because I've just wasted a huge amount of highly valued time on this book that I will never be able to take back.
And why did I have to waste my time on rereading a book I didn't even like in the first place?
BECAUSE THE AUTHOR PUT 1,5 YEARS BETWEEN BOOK#3 AND BOOK#4!
When I realized that I didn't remember ANYTHING about the story, I was left with no choice but to go through the same torture, again, before Book#4 came out.
What was the result? I'll get to that...
Firstly, I would like to thank my lovely ladies
JASMINE,
SUPREET and
FLO for being all kinds of cute and funny throughout our rather painful Buddy Reread! This was the best BR EVER and...
Now let's get to the real issue...
This book was a MESS.
I won't be nice and polite and say "It wasn't as good as one would expect."...
It was one of the most BORING, most POINTLESS and my God...the EMPTIEST books ever.
And I'm an Erotica reader. So that says something.
What was going wrong with this book?
1) NO PLOT WHATSOEVER.
2) THE SAME SEX SCENES OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Even the unnecessary but surprising anal scene was eye-roll inducing. *yawn*
3) THE UNBELIEVABLE LEVELS OF STUPIDITY EVA KEEPS SHOWING.
I seriously hate her.
4) CARY.
Ugggh. Such an annoying little pain in the a**.
5) BRETT KLINE.
Pathetic.
6) ALL OF GIDEON'S EX WH*RES.
Does Gideon have a magic d*ck or something? What's with all this fuss over him?
7) POINTLESS DETAILS ABOUT ALL THE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS.
Who the hell cares about them? Everyone is reading this damn series for Gideon, dude. Don't kid yourselves.
8) THE SLOOOOOOOW PACE.
I still can't believe how the hell I stayed awake till the end.
What was going right with this book?
Not even Gideon Cross. Yes. I'm sorry.
Will Eda read
Captivated by You?
Why?
Because I know even now that it will be BAD and I have an itching for a good ol' ranting review. *rubs hands*
Plus, how could I ever pass the chance to BuddyRead with my awesome besties once more?
FIRST THREE CHAPTERS OF "CAPTIVATED BY YOU"
It annoyed the hell outta me, so read it at your own expense... -
Now that I've finished my re-read, I can jump into book 4. I love me some Gideon and I'm excited to read some more of him <3
Rate the book... Not Gideon. Rate the book... Not Gideon. This is easier said than done. The book, a solid 3.5 stars... Gideon- 5+ stars, my rating= 4 Stars.
Lets take a look at my Gideon...
Gideon Cross had been designed to fuck a woman right out of her mind.
And his Eva...
We were two halves of the same soul.
If you haven’t read Bared to You or Reflected in You, you should probably go do that asap, Gideon Cross is not someone you want to miss out on. Also, if you haven’t read the first 2, this review will contain some storyline spoilers so there ya go.
Entwined with You starts off right where Reflected in You left off. Eva and Gideon are ‘together’ but not publicly. Its not safe for them to be together right now. Gideon has proven time and time again he will go to any extremes necessary to protect Eva. She is willing to do the same for him. Even if it means distancing herself for the time being. The first half of the book was a little repetitive (my main reason for the storyline being only a 3.5-4 rating) a lot of reassurance back and forth, over and over. But hot damn it was HOT!
“Thank you.”
“What are you thanking me for? You did all the work.”
“There’s no work involved in fucking you, angel.” His slow smile was pure satiated male. “I’m grateful for the privilege.”
I sank back onto my heels. “You’re killing me. You can’t be that gorgeous and sexy and say stuff like that. It’s overload. It fries my brain. Sends me into a meltdown.”
His smile widened and he kissed me again. “I know the feeling.”
Eva and Gideon together... yep, panties just melted right off of me. That club scene??? Wow.
Gideon wants to make sure Eva knows how much she means to him. He only wants her, no matter what his past was, his life truly began when he met his angel.
The second half of the book was much better for me. I was ecstatic that Eva and Gideon were able to get their relationship out in the open again. Not only is Gideon sexy as hell, he gets extra swoony in this book!
Towards the end, there is some definite drama and complications. Thankfully, the couple is able to stay strong, united, together.
“Whatever we face, we face together. ”
For those of you worried about another dreaded cliffhanger, fear not. I can safely say there is NO CLIFFHANGER. There are some unanswered questions, and some big things that are going to happen in the next book, you can tell, but Eva and Gideon are on solid ground so no worries there ;D I just love Gideon and Eva together. I love that they are two damaged people with broken pasts, but they are perfectly functional together. They really are great for one another.
At first, I was a little nervous about this series turning into a 5 book series, but seeing how this one ended, I could see how the author would want another book or two to tie up all the loose ends. Eva and Gideon’s story is far from over, and I’m excited to see what is next to come for them!
On a side note, I’m just going to say how much I LOVE Cary! Yep- love him and his manwhore ways...
“Ever worry about shouting out the wrong name when you’re coming?”
“Nope. I just call ‘em all baby.”
Gideon is one of the hottest alpha’s around, so even if you don’t love the book, you gotta love him!!! And heres to hoping the next book won’t take forever to come out! Happy reading! -
It was what I dreamed off, but I have to be honest that this time there were a few moments that I could just smack Eva on the head! especially when she was around her old f*ck buddy Brett (she's bonkers when she hears things about Corinne etc.. but she can be around her buddy all she wants..grrrrr) Also there wasn't really a big storyline throughout this book,it was more about some loose ends from the previous 2 books but nonetheless I really enjoyed seeing Gideon back! :)
And it's official..this series is killing me,in a good way off course but nonetheless it's killing me. I prepared myself that this book was gonna be the end and that every little thing would be cleared out between Gideon & Eva and all the others, that it would all be peachy for them + a dazzling Epilogue... The end of this amazing breathtaking series BUT there are gonna be 2 more books!! Once again the waiting is gonna kill me! Okay there wasn't a huge cliffhanger but there are a few things that needs to be cleared out VERY SOON!..lol
Gideon.. ooohh be still my heart he's perfection in every way! -
After reading this I gave the rating a 3 star. But now that I am writing my review and thinking about it, I am changing my rating to 2 stars!!!
When I received my ARC in the mail I was so excited to read this. I been waiting a long time to finally getting back with Eva and Gideon.
But what I got was....
I left a damn good book I was in the middle of reading to start this. I feel I should have waited. Eva and Gideon talking more about their relationship instead of always having sex was nice. But it was always going back to the same conversations over and over. I felt they needed to re insured their self's so much through out the book it was killing it for me.
Then it was slow. OMG it as so slow. I was getting tired of reading it after 30% and it didn't pick up from there. Not really, yeah there was a couple of surprises but nothing that is going to get me jumping up and reading my eyes out to finish.
I wanted to like this book so much! I really did. I am not sure what is going on with these added characters. I can give two fucks about them, I just don't get why they were in the book so damn much.
I am just confused to where else is this going to take us. The book should have just stopped in the last book with a HEA. Taking me through this whole process of non scene.. I'm not sure where else this book can take you.
The sex was fucking hot as always but with being bored in this book I was tired of reading even those parts.
Sorry loves, don't hate me cause I didn't like this so much. Just didn't cut it for me. -
---
Eva, if that's possible, loves Gideon even more for the sacrifice he made for her, but she is disconcert with Gideon's actions without her approval.
Yet she is certain that she can not live without him and she represents to Gideon the air he breathes. -
Let me start by saying I loved the first 2 books of this series tremendously. I was besotted with Gideon so i chose to overlook the trivial things about both the books that irked me.
Even this time i've been fairly generous. I've given 3 stars only because i'm blinded by my lust for Gideon.
Why Sylvia Day?
The storyline was already thin and now she's stretching it out hopelessly. She's adding silly plotlines to set the scene for the next 2 books, which i doubt many people will buy.
She's butchered up pretty much every character in this book except Gideon. Finishing this book was such a pain.
Eva
She's hypocritical, selfish and immature. Gideon loves her unconditionally, for Christ's sake he killed a man to protect her. I was gritting my teeth whenever Brett appeared in this book. And why she can't say no and straighten out the mess with Brett.
Gideon needs to sort out his issues too. Cary is also not likeable and he didn't have much to do in this book. Also i have no interest in the details of Eva's co-workers life, it was needless and boring.
Why is the writer hell bent on describing the way Eva, Gideon, Cary and every freaking character is dressed and their physical attributes in every goddamn scene? Also we don't want to know what they're eating for every meal and which brand they're obsessed with. This has grated me since the first book but i'm less forgiving now.
It kills me to say this but this book was just horrible and i'm done with Sylvia Day and the series.
-
If souls could be mated with wishes, ours would be inextricably entwined.
The third book in the Crossfire series, Entwined with You continues the often tumultuous relationship between Gideon Cross, the twenty-eight year-old billionaire and one of the top twenty-five richest people in the world, and Eva Tramell.
Ms Day does have a lovely writing style, if a little lavender for my tastes in contemporary romance.
We'd mistaken our ferocious mutual captivation for lust until we realized we couldn't breathe without each other.
The Plot
The Relationship
Love Scenes
Is it worth $9.99?
In my opinion, no. Wait for a library copy.
Is it worth reading?
Yes, but only if you're a diehard Gideon and Eva fan.
If you're sorta interested, just wait for the library copy. Imo, not a great deal happens.
Final Thoughts
Overall, an average read with a few highlights. Certainly fans of the Crossfire series won't want to miss this. But, if you want to read it, and are reluctant to pay for it, I suggest wait for a library copy.

Where will this book take this dysfunctional couple next? I can't wait.
I need this book NOW!!!

I just couldn't get into it. I'm sorry but the story got boring and repetitive. . Gideon, I'm afraid we must go our separate ways. -
Wow.
I loved...I mean LOVED...the first book. The second book was 'meh'. But this? Holy hot mess, Batman.
The flowery, over the top descriptions and dialogue was just too much. All the needless drama and ridiculous amount of angst. Ack!!! Honestly, I'm surprised I was able to finish the book at all.
Definitely one of my most disappointing reads. -
Holy Hotnesssss!!!
Gideon is in another fcuking class of hotness!!!
Honestly, Gideon Cross had been designed to fuck a woman right out of her mind.
If you thought he was hot in the first two books, then this book will MELT your panties off!!!
Gideon...
Eva...
"When I come, I come for you. Because of you and your mouth, hands, and insatiable little cunt. And it’ll be that way for you in reverse. My tongue, my fingers, my cum inside you. Just you and me, Eva. Intimate and raw.”
Firstly- there is NO cliffy people- its just an ending which is inconclusive obviously because we already know there's two more books.
Am I complaining?
HELL NO!!
More Gideon!! YESS please!!
Sylvia Day has outdone herself with this book- the writing is sooo hot but at the same time its not only sex.
"You were with me. The whole time. There wasn’t a second that passed when you weren’t on my mind. You own me, Eva. Wherever I am, whatever I’m doing, I belong to you.”
So this story...
Its a continuation of Eva and Gideons relationship after what he did for her.
He Risked it all for her..
Nothing can keep them apart, not their secrets, turbulent pasts and malicious people..
"Day One of my life was the day I met you"
We see Gideon in a whole new light in this book- our favourite sexy billionaire is even more sexy and now that his "walls" are down he will melt your heart and wet your panties!!!
"Gideon was an untamed animal behind closed doors, a lover who bared me to the soul every time he made love to me"
*****SWOOOON ALERT******
Eva and Gideon are scorching hot together! Yes I've mentioned this but seriously its so fcuking HOT!
I fell in Love with Gideon, possibly more with every page read- Eva wasn't too bad too.
"I look at you, angel, and I want you so badly. I want to be with you, listen to you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you.”
A couple so strong yet so weak, can only survive as One...
"Eva.” His features softened. “I can’t change who I am, and I don’t want to change who you are. I just want us to be who we are—together.”" -
ETA: JUNE?! Come on guys, you've now missed THREE major selling holidays -Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day for crying out loud, MOTHER'S DAY WOULD BE A GREAT SELLING POINT FOR THIS SERIES. *Shaking my head baffled* I mean they could've done a trilogy box-set and everything (although I think this series is now going to dragged out longer, now). Ok that's the end of my rant :).
I can understand the publisher's intentions with pushing the release date back- you want to build up the anticipation. However, 5 months is NOT the right decision. I personally think that this is a HUGE mistake on Penguin's part. A large portion of 50 Shades' success relied heavily on the fact that ALL THREE BOOKS WERE AVAILABLE WITHIN A MONTH OF EACH OTHER.
I know I will be dealing with a lot of ticked off customers once they realize they won't be able to read the third book until next Spring (my sister included).
Christmas is a huge selling season, and this title would have been the perfect gift for wives, daughters, sisters (hell even some men read this series).Penguin will lose readers over this choice, it's unfortunate but true. -
LITTLE TREAT aka sneak peek of the book FOR YOU GUYS
First Read- 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Third RE-READ- All the f*&king 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
So this book has this Night Club scene where Eva (h) went clubing with her Girlfriends and does something to provoke Gideon (H)
I love this book a lot but this particular scene screams "Steam" and the exhibitionist, wild and #baddie
in me loves it 🤭 (mirrors in particular 🤭)
So I kinda edit it and made it PG-13 version of the conversation they had 🤧🤧🤧 because ya know I am a "good girl” like that
So Here it goes⬇
-"Angel, You are a bad girl"
-"Only for you."
-“Did you forget that tonight?” When other men were touching you, rubbing against you? Did you forget you’re mine?”
“You want me,” he said harshly, “right here.”
“You want them to watch.
You want me to prove you’re mine.”
“Make you feel it.”
-“I want to prove that you’re mine, I want everyone to know it.”
(Eva, you are something else girl 🔥🔥🔥 you owned my respect with the last line) 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

★★★★★! Entwined with you (book 3). The continuation of Gideon’s and Eva’s epic, spellbinding & addictive story with suspense, challenges, self-discovery and their intense dysfunctional love!
“Gideon was a force of nature, his magnetic self-possession so powerful it put everyone around him in his shadow.”
Best experienced, The Crossfire series is Gideon’s and Eva’s epic love story, both broken, flawed and co-dependent and yet so determined and relentless for their elusive happily-ever after. Follow them through sky-high ups and rock-bottom lows as their relationship is tested with demons from their pasts, envy, jealousy, secrets and lies. Yet their biggest obstacles will always come from within. It’s their journey of self-discovery and fulfillment and about pushing all limits and surrendering it all for love.
Books in the Crossfire series must be read in order:
Book 1:
Bared to You
Book 2:
Reflected in You
Book 3:
Entwined with You
Book 4:
Captivated by You
Book 5:
One with You
For me the theme song for Gideon’s and Eva’s story is:
♫ Listen to Otis Redding’s soulful rendition of “My precious love” ♫. The lyrics so simply depicts the intensity of Gideon’s love and need for his Eva.
Gideon Cross is my ultimate hero. His combination of larger-than life personality and uncanny good looks; enigmatic and elusive; intense and in-control; broken and flawed; ruthless and unyielding, yet when it came to his Eva vulnerable, relentless and human.
“Honestly, Gideon Cross had been designed to fuck a woman right out of her mind.”
Six words to describe Gideon: Unforgettable, intense, ruthless, enigmatic, dominant and captivating.
Like it or not, but Eva Tramell is everything Gideon needed. Five words to describe Eva: Endearing, needy, tenacious, smart and fragile.
“Reminds me of the red dress you wore the first time I had you. That was it for me, you know. You devastated me. There was no coming back from that.”
Entwined with you (book 3), just like book 1 and 2, is very much a rollercoaster; Suspensefully told it’s filled with villains, surprises and shockers, but also beautifully depicting an against-all-odds love and of course in true Sylvia Day fashion plenty of sinfully steamy sex scenes. I like the direction she took in book 3. Ms. Day is a master at spinning a story and she has succeeded with artfully tying in events from previous books without making it feel like a synopsis. Though it did not end with the cliff-hanger of all cliff-hangers it had an abrupt ending. But had I known beforehand I would still have read it! And considering everything that has happened it makes sense to have another two books to wrap it all up.
Epic! Spellbinding! Captivating! Addictive! Unforgettable! In my humble opinion likely to become one of the best love stories of all times!
“Gideon was a man who’d lived an entirely solitary life, and yet he’d accepted me into it so completely that he could envision a future I was afraid to imagine. I was so scared I’d only be setting myself up for a heartbreak I couldn’t survive.”

The third book of the Crossfire saga, Eva, if that's possible, adores Gideon more for the sacrifice he made for her, but is baffled by Gideon's performances without her approval.
From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn't resist. I saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside--so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.

I surprised myself....that I actually finished reading this!!! At the end....I was totally comatose!!!
Entwined with You, the 3rd book in Sylvia Day's Crossfire Series was a beyond a total NO NO and more than beyond TEDIOUS!!! Just when I hoped that I could at last "bond" with Gideon Cross.....instead I came out not bonding in any way or form. His only redeeming quality here was how he protected and actually loved Eva and how far he would go to keep her safe. However, I felt that he needs to sort out his bloody issues.
I began to dislike Eva Tramell to n end. What a selfish, self-centered, two-faced false person....and how hypocritical she was when it came to Gideon. The guy bares his soul to her, kills for her....and she's suddenly unsure about her feelings towards her ex...the douchy Brett....and all the sexy dancing with strange men in clubs...........Gideon, get rid of Eva please!!!!
Nothing happens in this story....oh, yes....sex and more boring sex happens and nothing else!!! It's one long repeat and repeat and repeat...
And the drama continues................”Honestly, Gideon Cross had been designed to fuck a woman right out of her mind.”
You f&cking own me , Eva. I’ll be damned if I don’t own you back
"I look at you, angel, and I want you so badly. I want to be with you, listen to you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you."
This is the most disappointing and horribilis one in the series - so far!!!
Will I continue with Gideon and Eva???? -
Absolutely blown away! I love these books so much! Just fantastic.
And every time I read another one I fall a little bit more in love with Gideon Cross.
But oh my God, the heartache. Jeeez, can't these two catch a break? There could not be more obstacles in their way. My goodness!"If souls could be mated with wishes, ours would be inextricably entwined."
I don't even really know what to write right now. I feel like just writing a review that goes something like...
IT'S AMAZING
IT'S AMAZING
IT'S AMAZING
IT'S AMAZING
IT'S AMAZING
IT'S AMAZING
... But that would be pretty dull.
So, I'm going to go with this... If you've already read these books, I'm going to assume I don't need to do a whole lotta selling right now. If you're on book #3, you must be feeling it and you'll know how fantastic and intricate this story has become. So let's do a sales job on those of you who either haven't read them, or read book #1 and left it there...
READ THE SERIES! Honestly, I promise you, you will not regret it. I will readily admit that when I read the first book, I was like, 'Seriously? 50 Shades mark 2 or what?!'... I mean, sexy billionaire meets innocent young girl, troubled pasts, expensive cars, extravagant gestures. Even the initials were the same... Christian Grey = CG, Gideon Cross = GC. I was thinking 'Does this author have no imagination' ?!?!
But, Gideon fans, refrain from throwing rocks at me because OH MY CHRIST! YES YES YES, Sylvia Day has an amaaaazing imagination. Turns out, she is actually somewhat of a genius! There are more twists and turns and heartache and complication and angst in this story than any other. And it's utterly brilliant."I'd wait forever for you, as long as you're mine."
I love the writing. I love the characters. I love the dialogue between Gideon and Eva. Oh, it's soooo cute. He says the cutest, but most heartfelt things and it just works soooo well."Has that line ever worked for anyone?"
"I'm not feeding you lines. I mean every word."
...
"Day One of my life was the day I met you."
"Okay, that's a winner. You can put it in."
Really, this is a review, not only of this book, but of the series as a whole, as I read books #1 and #2 before I began blogging and reviewing. And I urge all of you who have not gotten hold of these yet, or who did not give them enough of a chance, to dive in.
And I am totally stoked that there are two more books in this series now. A friend of mine, who hadn't read Entwined with You yet said 'Oh God, two more books? No! I wanted this to be the last one.'
She finished EwY last night and rung me to say 'Oh myyyy Goooooodddd, I can't wait for the second book!!! I never want it to end!' And yes, the words 'I told you so' did leave my lips!
So, that's it. It's fantastic, it's gripping, it's original, it's sexy and it's absolutely going on my favourites, ✰✰✰✰✰+, need-it-in-paperback shelf!
Get some Gideon in your life!"Waking up to you is like... presents on Christmas morning."
His mouth curved. "For your convenience, I'm already unwrapped. Batteries not required."

Dang did the crap happen in this book. It was one thing after another. Wow. Just wow. The writing was amazing, kept me in-tune throughout most of this book and just when it was becoming slow, bam guess what....
these two deserve such happiness. It's killing me what's happening to them. This author just doesn't cut Gideon & Eva a break.
I'm hoping the next book might ease up, but I'm highly doubting that =))
Gideon you about made me smash my kindle in this book then you completely made a 360 turn around. Gawwwwwwwwd how I am falling in love with you
Eva, oh sweet Eva I hope you stay strong, for yourself and for Gideon. I don't know what the next book will bring for you but dang did you remain strong during this one. I would have ran the other way long ago!!
And last but not least, Cary. I am praying you figure your shit out =)) -
3.5 'disappointed but I'm gong to hang in there to see what happens next' stars
Ok so this is a tough book to review as it was originally a DNF for me. For all those huge Gideon fans out there.....let me explain.....
At the time of this first being released there was so much hype about this book and I was excited to read the FINAL instalment of Gideon and Eva's journey. I absolutely loved the first two books in this series, they were such engaging books and lets face it Gideon Cross is super hot, who wouldn't love him? Therefore, like many I was eager to get answers and for the final pieces of the jigsaw slot into place........but just as I was about to start I bizarrely read that this wasn't the final book after all, that the author had decided to write TWO more???!!!........which to begin with surprised me but I assumed that the author had needed to write more books because there was just too much content to squeeze into this one final part, and so with this new knowledge on board I started this hotly anticipated third book in the Crossfire series.
Unfortunately within the first 15 % my enthusiasm dropped significantly and by 40% I made the decisions to give up. There was nothing majorly wrong about this book in fact the sex scenes were AMAZING, and no one can ever fault this author for the fantastically erotic sex scenes she writes.......but that was all it was, for 40% of this book, it was sex scene, after sex scene, with no actual story for me I'm afraid.
HOWEVER......Last week I decided to give it another go. I love Gideon and I still wanted to know what happened despite the initial seemingly slow story .....I thought maybe it might be different for me now that all the hype has died down, so I started back where I'd left it.
So now i have finished and all in all I have to say that I definitely enjoyed it more this time around but for me it was definitely a "FILLER" more than a complete story. As a reader I still feel a bit annoyed really because everything that happens in this book could have been condensed down and the story still would have flowed. There just seemed to be so much "padding out" of the story and I really do feel like this book was just a slow build to set the scene for the next book.....which i know some would be happy with but for me, when i'm expecting a book to be the final part, and what I actually get is a book that has such a slow pace nothing much seems to happen, it is a disappointment. Don't get me wrong the book definitely got better as it went along and we did get to see a bit more drama. I also loved reading about how Eva and Gidoens relationship develops and there were a few surprises in store for me,
I'm glad I went back to it because I now have a renewed sense of eagerness to read the next book, and I know Gideon will make it all worth it in the end, I suppose I just can't help but feel duped as a reader......it just feels to me that story is being strung out a bit too much.....ad for me sometimes LESS is MORE!!!! -
In the last book, Reflected in You, Eva found out Gideon's secret and why he had been acting the way he did. Now, they begin working through things and seeing if they are able to move forward with their relationship.
This is the third book in the trilogy that is no longer a trilogy. That being said, it is a middle book. If you go into this thinking anything else, you will be disappointed. It is much slower than the prior books. Things have been sorted out for the moment and it's almost as if it's the calm before the storm...you can almost feel that the sh*t is going to hit the fan.
But we do get a lot of good steamy scenes from Gideon and Eva, after all, they have a lot of making up to do. Unfortunately, they both still have a lot of problems but...I do feel that they are making some progress and they are trusting each other which is a big relief.
Gideon still keeps things from Eva and it drives me crazy!! And yes, he still has a ton of issues but his focus is very direct. However, I was happy with the ways he tried to make up for the past but he still has a way to go.
My Gideon
Eva has really grown. She realizes how much Gideon wants and needs her and she has decided she does trust him. But...she still does things to push his buttons with other guys including Brett...that I just didn't understand!
As I mentioned, of course, there are hot, steamy scenes...I mean we are talking about Gideon and Eva after all! ;) I do have to admit while I enjoyed them...the club, the plane, the weekend...my favorite parts were when they were just together, talking and cuddling. Finally! Some time to just "be together" without all that other crap. I can see how people would think it was boring but I just felt it was sooo necessary.
That doesn't mean there weren't problems but for once, the focus on Gideon and Eva wasn't the main problem all the time. Cary's problems keep piling on and he's gotten himself into a "situation"...I'm not sure I really believe it though. Eva's Mom and Dad get themselves in a bit of a fix...and that was kind of weird!! Not really sure where SD is going with that one. Corrine continues to be a major thorn in both Gideon and Eva's side but this time she's pulled out all the strings...and what's going on with her husband, Jean-Francois? Gideon's Mom is being a major b*tch and Brett can't keep his hands off Eva! I don't know why I'm shocked about the video and then the tape! And who was the red-headed woman at the charity event? I also don't trust Deanna the reporter at all!
There's even more things going on with other characters. At Eva's work, Mark and Steven have some good news, we get to know Will better and Megumi, who's having her own guy troubles. And there's more interaction from the families, Christopher makes an appearance and causes problems naturally. Stanton's nephew, Martin, is getting to know Eva's friend, Lacey, and Ireland's been around more.
And unfortunately, the problem with Nathan hasn't gone away. Obviously, there is more to the story...and it seems as though it may be a huge factor even though I have no idea how! The situation with the bracelet is driving me crazy!!
My favorite part was Gideon and Eva's weekend!! I was actually surprised that things went through but I loved how Gideon always takes care of everything and thinks of everything! I especially love how affected he is by certain things that Eva does and says. ~sigh~
And then the story just kind of ends, right in the middle of things. Eva and Cary are set to go to San Diego for the weekend where Brett will be and Gideon's not happy about it, Corrine's not out of the woods, it's unknown if the situation with Brett and the tape have been handled, and what happened to Megumi??
There's a lot to be covered in the next two books and I can't wait!!
(**Note...if you want more information on what's going on with the books, here's info from SD's facebook page...

5 AH-MAZING ENTWINED STAR's
We start this love story where we are left after reflected in you. Eva learns what Gideon did to protect her, to keep her safe. They get back together but have secrets to keep so their relationship is kept quiet."Just be with me" I whispered, my eyes stinging all over again. "I need you." Gideon's fingertips glided softly down my cheek. "You were with me, The whole time. There wasn't a second that passed when you weren't on my mind. You own me, Eva. Wherever I am, whatever I'm doing, I belong to you."
There love seeps through the pages, this book has a very different feel to the other two books, I found it to be slower paced but I also feel that's what they need as a couple, to re-connect, to heal, to come together, to be whole."I love you," he whispered. "Too much."
"Eva. Let me... "He cupped my face, licking deep into my mouth. "Let me love you."
"Day one of my life was the day I met you."
"I'll do anything for you. There are no limits in our bed. No memories Just us. You and me. And love. I love you so much."
Gideon is his domineering possessive self, he'll do anything to keep Eva safe and loved. They deal with lots of obstacles along the way but what I liked about them as a unit is they TALK about everything together, if they worry or are scared they talk it through. There is No stupidity or annoyance. I found them to be stronger and bound together. There scenes are intense, sensual and at times they fuck and times they are very much slow and love each other with care. they are very much Entwined
They are dealing with not only re-connecting but there hurt, there nightmares, there abuse. This is very much at the centre of there relationship and I suppose what drew them together, they are learning to deal with there pasts together.
They find there way back together.. and take time to come out to their world, their friends and family slowly, so so many great moments I have highlighted so many quotes I can't put them all on but go read it and love them too.
There's more Cary and his drama and Eva's love for her best friend, them continuing to deal with change and new challenges, also Eva's mum was there with her problems but even though she IS frustrating I enjoyed reading her too. Eva's dad adds his own moments with Eva. He loves Eva and wants her happy we see more of them.... also Gideon trying to regain his trust after all he is going to be Gideon's father in law Eventually!!!
This story is there next journey to there HEA but we have another two books to get through.
I do understand how people are upset about 1. the wait and 2. that they want them to get there HEA sooner, I am personally very happy I love this story and am happy to go through more with them, not just for Gideon but for Eva I can see how there is a lot more to come such as there nightmares, there torment, there family's, ex's. So if your worried about the length and thinking it's prolonging the journey just give it a chance before you dismiss this one!!"Eva." His features softened. "I can't change who I am, and I won't change who I am, and I don't want to change who you are. I just want us to be who we are-together."
There is NO CLIFFHANGER just lots more questions to answer..
So enjoy and patiently awaiting book 4...
"I look at you, angel, and I want you so badly. I want to be with you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you." "Gideon." I leaned forward and kissed him softly. "I want you, too."

This is the third book in the Crossfire series with Gideon and Eva.
I LOVED the first 2 books, but this one I had a really hard time getting into it. This was my face until 35%....
With much encouragement and support from my ladies, I continued on with the book, and once again fell hard for Gideon Cross. This man is abso-freaking-lutely AMAZING, PERFECT, GORGEOUS, LOVING, DEVOTED TO EVA, HOT, and LOOKS LIKE A SEX GOD.... The ending?? Well, i will just say it was not a cliffhanger, BUT you're left scratching your head and saying "When the hell is the next book coming out?" I wish we got the HEA with this book....unfortunately we will have to wait a little longer, so if you're a Gideon fan like me...you should read it!
I give this book 3.5 almost 4 GIDEON stars :)

Re-read with my funny ladies; Supreet, Flo & Eda ♥♥♥
Well...that's a whole load of bullcrap in one book. I'm a little abhorred that I rated this 5 stars previously (that says a lot about my book taste back then, damn you FSOG frenzy and my desperate fix of withdrawal).
So this is my attempt of an unconventional review because honestly, I'd like to write a letter to this author.
WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Book 3 if you haven't read. But then again...I'm pretty sure 90% of you have already read it. So moving along.
Dear Sylvia Day,
I'm not sure why you would make any reader wait a year and a half for another book in this series or why for a matter of fact, that you would not let this series end already. If you'd think that us readers have a memory capacity of a size of a whale, I'm deeply questioning your motives of even bothering to continue writing this series. Heck I couldn't even remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday morning, let alone the last time you publish this book.
Honestly I read 3 pages in and I couldn't remember for the life of me who the frak is 90% of the people in this series except Gideon and psychobitch Eva. Also her annoying bisexual roommate, Cary.
And who the hell is Brett, Corrine, Deanna, Magadelene again? Of course after some head cracking and thanks to my wonderful lady Flo who tortured herself with Book 1 and 2 re-reads, this was what I conjured up and correct me if I'm wrong:
Brett: Eva's ex who is now a lead singer in a band who's still overly fixated on Eva (cue the music video scene in which depicts their old love affair) and is still dying to stick in his dick in her.
Corrine: Gideon's No.1 ex-fiance and ex-slut. Centerpiece of all drama llama. Has a husband now named Giroux who can't keep the leash on his wife.
Deanna: Gideon's yet another ex-slut. Annoying reporter who threatens to reveal about Gideon's past. Yet another drama llama queen.
Magadelene: Gideon's idk-what-number ex-slut because
And can we talk about that book plot....oh wait.
Seriously, all I got was SEX, SEX, DRAMA, FILLER, SEX, DRAMA, SEX, FILLER, SEX, BACKDOOR ACTION, BOOM SECRET MARRIAGE, SEX, SEX, ABRUPT ENDING.
Why Slyvia, WHY?!?! There was just so much filler, zero plot and it was an absolute snoozefest for me. I literally dozed off 3 times whenever I attempt to re-read this. You should have just left this series at Book 2 and stopped ruining a possibly good series.
Honestly, I'm not even sure what's left to read about because Book 2 was a whole bullocks of filler and so was this one. And Gideon apparently gets away with murder, these two are shagging in every place possible and Cary knocks up his girlfriend, WHICH I do not give an absolute frak about. Just tell me, what exactly do you possibly still have to write about that doesn't make me wanna bash my head in?
So the million dollar question is, will I still read your next book that's coming out next week?Because apparently I enjoy inflicting pain on myself.
I'm doing this in the name of Gideon, SO LORD HELP ME.
You may win this time, Sylvia but I can't say the same after Book 4 is out.
Yours sincerely,
An eager beaver who is still pissed for making everyone wait.
To my lovely ladies who will be BR-ing Book 4 with me,
But I know we'll still have shit tons of fun, possibly ranting the hell outta that book ;D -
2.5 I'm feeling really sad stars... :(
because Omg seriously.....this book was tht boring..... I am soo disappointed. :/
...the slowness n the non awesomeness of the plot is ruiined my good mood n reading appetite from the very begganing... ;( The only reason I sat through this whole book to the very end..is because i ve never left a book as a DNF. ..n I was NOT going to let this book be its first....
I'll admit this book does have Erotica leading it's grene factor. This book solely earned a one star from me, for it's fabulously hot sex seances n Giedon cross's sexy but romantic one liners... And the other star, for having a bit of a plot and for the authors style of writing...
I know this is the part where I tell the Crossfire series...." I'm breaking up with you "
But sadly...no I won't..lol.yes I known.I love to torture myself tht way....
Even though I DID NOT like Cary...or Corrine..or..anyone (except Giedon) and even Though I really dislike Eva and her selfishness..n her temper...n her ability to FORGIVE Giedon..sooooo easily for EVERYTHING..I will still be reading book 4...just to finish with the series...
I mean seriously was tht even necessary ? Wht drag a perfectly paged trilogy into a long 5 book series ?!?! Because seriously..to me ?
Gosh..seriously...I'm totally pissed of right now....another series drag, and I didn't even like this book ending, even though it wasn't a cliffy ! How lame us tht ? :P oh well... *sign* I really do hope atlst some of u guys agree with me there ...seriously. :/ -
Final rating: 3.5/5 stars

Ash!! Thank you girls ♥“I look at you, angel, and I want you so badly. I want to be with you, listen to you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you.”
Gideon definitely owns my body, heart and soul!!!!!! ♥ Ever since i have read first two books, i have been eager to read the third one. Mostly because i thought it was going to be last one. But alas, it was not and it makes me sad. Because this book and story had such a great potentional, and now it feels like it was made only to fill in the time before the last 20% of the book. What could have been awesome book was turned into not so awesome bridge book.
Anyway, that doesn't mean i didn't like it, cause i did. But, there is one thing i found quite irritating in this book: it felt repetitive. It was just like Déjà vu.
But never mind that, i needed my own personal dose of Gideon, and i must say that Sylvia didn't disappoint in that department. There were many extremely hot scenes and it was just - too hot!

CHARACTERS :

♦ Eva:
I loved Eva in first two books. Well, a little less in the second book but lets just say even less now that i have read this one. She just didn't stop being frustrating. Not to mention she became even more irritating than before. I understand that she was broken as a child and that all this is affecting her: Gideon going to such lenghts to keep her safe, her mother stalking her again, her best friend going through crysis... And she doesn't know what to do. But, she didn't stop being completely clueless and she always makes wrong assumptions - usually reacting before confronting the person in question. And the worst thing was that she didn't say important things to the right people... until it was late. Some secrets are not meant to be kept from loved ones - no matter what they are.
♦ Gideon:
made by
Joana ♥♥♥
Gideon is the main reason i am still reading this series. His love for Eva is unparalleled, and yet, she still doubts him sometimes and it makes me feel hurt. Because after all he had done to keep her safe and from harm, she still doubts his love.
And after all, Gideon won me over and over again with all of his smooth talking and hot adventures. He will always makes me swoon :P
♦ Cary:
Cary is having difficulties, he cannot decide what he is doing with his life... He is juggling between two relationships in the same time, and i can't help but vote for Trey because to me, Tatiana is just like third wheel in the whole story. What shocked me was the plot twist near the end (well, depends on your angle... ). And, that is going to make big complications in both his life, and lives of people around him.
♦ Everyone else:
-Eva's mother is freaking me and Eva out.
-Brett - i still don't like you.
-Eva's father is so awesome :)
-Ireland was cute as always.
-and everyone else were just ok.

OVERALL :

I think it's sad that this is going to be five-ology, because i don't think it suits this series. What could have been awesome finale was prolonged without any need, and this book felt like all those " bridge" books in series (bridge books are usually second books in the trilogies). But, the good thing is, i will have opportunity to read more about Gideon (even Eva) and Cary, which makes me happy.
I think the good idea would be that the other two books are from Gideon's point of view, because i am getting tired of being stuck with Eva. I don't know how i will survive the last two books being in her head again.
BUT PLEASE, PLEASE SYLVIA DAY, PLEASE MAKE THE OTHER TWO BOOKS FROM GIDEON'S PERSPECTIVE!!!!!
Over and out.
